We run a number of talks and music events throughout the year with our largest event being our annual Creative Holywood Festival. Creative Holywood Festival runs throughout the month of March with a diverse and stimulating programme of art, music and dance events. Recent festivals have showcased local professional dancers, opera singers, artists and other performers. Our musical concerts have ranged from gypsy jazz to choral performances to (free) world music events. Our ‘in conversation’ events have featured local journalists, politicians and other experts in their field.

Beyond social benefits, our cultural activities also provide economic advantages to our local community. Our Creative Holywood Festival attracts visitors from near and far, stimulating spending at local businesses, creating employment opportunities for local performers and generally boosting the local economy.
